Today we’ll check the admission guidelines for the department of International Trade in Sungkyunkwan University.

 

 

 

 

Sungkyunkwan University has two campuses. Seoul Campus and Natural Science Campus(NSC) in Suwon, Gyeonggi.

The department of International Trade is in Seoul Campus.

 

The major subjects are: International Trade / Commerce / Management / Negoiation / Digital Trade, International Business Risk / Finance / Payment, Internatioanl Transport / Logistics / Maritime Industry,  Regional Study (USA/China/Japan/East Asia/Europe/Norht Korea, etc.) etc.

 

 

 

 

[Eligibility]

 

1.     Degree:

  • Bachelor's degree holder or expected graduateto be conferred with a Bachelor's degree
  • Master’s degree holder or expected graduate to be conferred with a Master’s degree

 

2.     Nationality: Applicant with foreign citizenship whose parents also hold foreign citizenships

 

3.     Language Requirement: TOPIK level 6

 

 

 

[Scholarship]

 

1.     Admission Scholarship for International students of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Art departments

  • Candidate: selected international student accepted to Humanities, Social Sciences or Art departments based on the admissions evaluation result
  • Scholarship Amount (1st semester only): 100%, 70%, 50%, 25% or 10% of admission fee and tuition

 

2.     Merit-based Scholarship for international students during semesters (from the 2 nd semester)

  • Qualification and Amount: international student admitted through the International Student admissions track will be nominated based on the GPA of the previous semester

※ Student receiving STEM scholarship will be exempt

 

Average GPA 4.5 in the previous semester: 50% tuition waiver

Average GPA 4.2~4.5 in the previous semester: 30% tuition waiver

Average GPA 3.8~4.2 inthe previous semester: 20% tuition waiver

 

3.     Graduate School-affiliated Scholarships

  • Qualification: SKKU graduate who is admitted to the General Graduate Program with outstanding academic records and research performances (details will be notified)
  • Scholarship Amount: partial amount of the tuition fee (including the admission fee)

 

 

 

[Tuition Fee]

 

  • Admission Fee: 1,198,000 KRW
  • Tuition Fee: 6,741,000 KRW
