Today we are going to check the admission guidelines of graduate school for College of Design in Hanyang University.

 

 

 

College of Design includes majors of Jewerly & Fasion Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, and Interactive & Multimedia Design.

 

 

 

For Hanyang University, there are two campuses. Seoul and Erica. The College of Design is at the Erica Campus, which is located in Gyeonggi-do.

 

For the application, all graduate programs at Hanyang University must be applied through the International Admissions Team in Seoul Campus. And an applicant can apply for a single admission unit only, regardless of the campus.

 

 

 

[Eligibility]

 

Applicants with foreign nationality, whose parents both have foreign nationality.

 

1.     Both the applicant and their parents must acquire foreign nationality(citizenship) before the start date of the Online Application period.

 

※ For dual citizenship holders, they must renounce Korean citizenship before the start date of the Online Application period.

 

2.     Bachelor’s degree holder for Master’s applicants and Master’s and Bachelor’s degree holder for Doctoral applicants

1.     TOPIK Level 4 or above

2.     Hanuanng IIE Transcript of Level 4 or above

3.     TOPIK iBT Levil 4 or above

To apply the all majors involved in College of Design in Hanyang University, additional documents are required.

The applicant should submit a portfolio includeing both ⓵ & ⓶ by USB.

[Scholarships for International Students]

 

1.    Hanyang International Scholarship Program (HISP)

 

Among applicants those with excellent grades at their final university are selected based on overall scholastic achievement.

 

-      GPA from the previously attended institution must be 80 or higher when converted to a 100 scale

-      Benefit

HISP 50%	50% reduction in tuition

 

-      Scholarship period: Master 4 semesters / Ph.D 4 semesters / MA-Ph,D 6 semesters

-      Requirement: Scholarship recipeints must achieve a minimum of 3.0 GPA each semester in order to retain their scholarship.

 

2.    Hanyang Scholarship for Excellence in Laguage Proficiency

 

Hanyang Scholarship for Excellence in Language Proficiency is awarded to applicants who have passed the TOPIK level 5 or 6, or achieved a TOEFL iBT score of 90 or higher of IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.

 

-      Benefit: 30% reduction in tuition

-      Scholarship period: The first semester only

 

 

3.    Hanyang Alumni Scholarship

 

Awarded to international students who graduated from Hanyang University degree program.

 

-      Benefit: 50% reduction in tuition and 50% reduction in admission fee

-      Scholarship period: Master 4 semesters / Ph.D 4 semesters / MA-Ph.D 6 semesters

-      Requirement: Scholarship recipients must achieve a minimum of 3.0 GPA each semester

 

 

4.    Hanyang Bridge Scholarship

 

Awarded to international students who have participated in exchange or visiting program at Hanyang University.

 

-      Benefit: 50% reduction in tuition

-      Scholarship period: The first semester only

 

 

5.    Online Degree Program Scholarship

 

Awarded to international students who are admitted to Online Degree Program.

 

-      Benefit: 50% reduction in tuition fee of 70% reduction in tuition fee if selected through a comprehensive evaluation

-      Scholarship period: 4 semesters

-      Requirement: Recipient must achieve minimum of 3.0 GPA each semester

 

 

 

[Tution Fee]

 

For the Department of Design,

 

• Admission Fee: 1,030,000 won
• Tuition: 9,022,000 won

 

※ Tuition fees are subject to change.

 

 

 

In Hanyang University, there are dormitories available in price ranges from 1,000,000 won to about 2,900,000 won, so please apply if needed.
